Sidi Ergo 5 Shoes White / Black. Road shoes made of TechPro microfiber, which provide a perfect fit thanks to the combination of the Soft Instep Closure System 4, the Techno 3 system, the Velcro straps and the adjustable heel retention device. The Ergo 5 incorporate the Sidi reinforced heel, a replaceable pad on the heel and Twelve Carbon Composite sole.

Technical Features:

• TechPro Microfiber: Made of PU microfiber manufactured in Italy, which provides high technology and superb performance levels. Affording resistance, stability, lightness, breathability and waterproofing. This microfiber has obtained the Oeko-Tex certificate.
• Soft Instep 4 System: This closure system in the instep has a wide, anatomically curved strap that combined with soft, thermo-formed EVA foam padding, distributes the pressure evenly over the instep area. This system is micro adjustable from both sides in order to perfectly centre the EVA padding over a higher or lower instep. This system is durable and replaceable.
• Techno 3 System: The Sidi Techno-3 System offers an optimum fit throughout the shoe and adapts to the shape of the foot. The Sidi closures are reliable and replaceable and have been improved with the innovative and patented Sidi Wire material, which does not constrict at all, for a simple and comfortable fit during the ride. This system can be repaired and replaced.
• High Security Velcro: Adjustable Velcro straps with built in locking polymer teeth for a more secure closure. The Velcro strap is practically unmoveable.
• Adjustable Heel Retention Device: The adjustable heel retention device reinforces the top of the heel cup and improves the fit by closing the back of the shoe around the heel. In this way, the back of the heel stays in place during steep climbs or sprints. This system can be adjusted via two small screws that work independently. In order to close the device the screw has to be turned towards the + sign, whilst for opening turn towards the – sign. This system is lightweight, simple and replaceable.
• Sidi Heel Cup: The Sidi reinforced heel keeps the foot in an optimum position and avoids the shoe becoming deformed in the event of an impact or prolonged pressure.
• Twelve Carbon Composite Sole: Made of carbon fibre injected into a Nylon matrix which absorbs water and does not lose rigidity with adverse weather conditions and time. The result is a considerably lighter and more rigid sole.
