For those that move around town and want to know the details of their trip to work, as well as for those that want the data of their travels or competitions, Motocard has loads of odometers to choose from based on your requirements or demands of the data to consult from your trips: actual, average and maximum speed; distance travelled; total distance travelled; stopwatch; time, etc.
Odometers are made up of three elements responsible for interpreting the data of your trips: the computer (screen and brain) that can be installed on a bracket on the handlebar or stem. The magnet (or wheel sensor), that is attached to a spoke on the front wheel. And lastly, the pickup, which is installed inside the forks in order to read the pass of the magnet.
For the more traditional amongst you, you can choose a cable odometer. With simple installation, you just have to make sure you wire the cables properly. Wireless ones, save having to pass the cables through the lever covers, without losing data precision.
Installation is simple and quick and it's almost unnecessary to go to a mechanics as hardly any tools are used. But when you install it, make sure to calibrate it correctly in function of wheel size. This is the most important aspect of the installation, as an error in wheel diameter will provide incorrect data of your travels. This diameter can be found on the written reference that appears on the tyres, or even on the box for the spare inner tubes you may have.
